Notion - "Snares & Soul"

Notion has been making beats almost as long as he's been writing rhymes, but it was mostly a side thing while he focused the bulk of his energy on his bars. Over the past few years the long-time MC has invested more and more time into his production, truly coming into his own since his move to Canada.

After notable placements with Canadian artists Angerville, iLLvibe and Cee, and even vlogs like Today With Tray and Gary Vaynerchuk's Daily Vee, Notion's production is truly buzzing. So it felt right to drop his first ever beat tape on his birthday.

"Snares & Soul" encompasses 11 soulful, sample-heavy beats, perfectly sequenced to take the listener on a moody 28 minute journey through Notion's recent catalogue. Some of these are the very same productions that were showcased on the super popular vlogs, and they showcase Notion's innate affinity for samples. The tape can be enjoyed as a standalone project, or as a playground for singers and MCs looking for their next hit.
